Account Deletion

This page explains how to request account deletion for PERP GO. The process depends on your login method.


Two Login Methods

PERP GO supports two authentication methods:

  1. Email Login (Privy) — You created an account with your email and use an embedded wallet

  2. External Wallet (WalletConnect) — You connected your own wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.)


For Email Login Users (Privy)

⚠️ Export Your Private Key First

Before requesting deletion, you must export your private key to retain access to your wallet assets:

  1. Log in with your PERP GO email

  2. Export and securely save your private key

Request Deletion

After exporting your private key (or if your wallet is empty):

  1. Open a ticket in #open-a-ticket

  2. Request account deletion with your email address

Processing time: Up to 30 days

What Gets Deleted

Deleted:

  • Your email and Privy account credentials

  • Embedded wallet access (you can still access via exported private key)

Cannot be deleted:

  • Historical analytics data (technical limitations)

  • Blockchain transaction history (public and permanent)


For External Wallet Users (WalletConnect)

PERP GO does not control your external wallet. To stop using PERP GO:

  1. Disconnect your wallet in the app

  2. Uninstall PERP GO

Your wallet remains fully under your control. Historical analytics data may remain in our systems, but we will stop collecting new data.


Important Notes

Blockchain Data: All on-chain transactions are permanent and publicly visible. This is a fundamental characteristic of blockchain technology and cannot be changed.

Analytics Data: Due to technical limitations, historical usage data in Segment is retained indefinitely and cannot be deleted.
